Cottesloe
Completed in 2011 this single level home was designed to a very specific design brief which the Humphrey Builders Design team developed with the clients. The entire property has no more than a single step within its boundaries even though the original block had a considerable slope. Focus was placed on passive solar principles including maximising winter sun by the extensive use of highlight windows to the northern and eastern elevations. Five metre high ceilings follow the skillion roof, to provide an enormous sense of space and light, and end in custom designed tapered eaves.
